Certifications
As president of Integrated Clean Air Services, Stephen is serious about his certifications. Beyond mere training, certifications prove that he is offering the very best quality of service.
Few others take the time, energy and expense to get certified. Frankly, we don’t understand why – after all, we believe your family deserves the very best.
Always ask anyone who offers to clean your air ducts for their certifications. You will be surprised at some of the answers (and creative non-answers!).
Integrated Clean Air Services is a proud member of NADCA, the National Air Duct Cleaners Association. NADCA is the only organization that sets HVAC standards and provides training and certification.
Stephen is a founding member of NADCA’s anti-fraud task force and currently sits on a few other committees. This means that Integrated Clean Air Services will never use aggressive, unprofessional people or telemarketing to sell our services.
Integrated Clean Air Services (and its few reputable competitors) are working with the CRTC to stop these unwarranted sales calls and close these second-rate companies down.
This is the highest education one can receive from NADCA. CVIs understand how to completely inspect all aspects of HVAC systems. This is especially important when dealing with commercial systems, but Stephen wants all his clients to receive this same high level of service.
Stephen is one of less than 20 Certified Ventilation Inspectors in all of Ontario, so you know you will only get the very best when you work with him. Integrated Clean Air Systems is also one of less than 10 companies in all of Ontario that are professional enough to employ a CVI!
Whatever you do, make sure that only a CVI inspects and performs work in your home or commercial building!
This (ASCS) certification from NADCA is important. It shows that Stephen understands all the requirements about how to properly clean a residential and commercial air system.
This title requires yearly recertification to hold this designation, which ensures Stephen is up to date on the latest industry practices.
The VSMR certification shows that Stephen has a thorough understanding of mould issues in HVAC and how to deal with them.
Stephen knows what he’s looking for related to mould issues, and he can help you take the proper steps to eliminate it at the source before it becomes a health issue.
This was a standalone course when Stephen first completed it, but it has since been rolled into the ASCS program.
Radon measurement is an important service that requires a trained professional. Stephen is certified by the Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP) to determine the levels of radioactive radon in your home. Integrated Clean Air Services is also a member of the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST).
